Voicemail is a service that allows callers to leave messages when you are not available to answer your phone and you can have it sent to your email address as well.  Voicemail permits you to record your own outgoing message, so that when calls are routed to your voicemail after a selectable number of rings, they will hear your voicemail greeting and have the option to leave a message.

With JoiPhone E911 (Enhance 911) Service, when you dial 911, your telephone number and registered address is simultaneously sent to the local emergency center assigned to your location, and emergency operators have immediate access to your telephone and address information, thus permitting them to respond to your emergency call or to call you back if necessary.
